Laminating Machine Safety Guidelines & Common Mistakes to Avoid
Please avoid the following lamination methods to ensure smooth operation and prevent document damage.
Incorrect Film Insertion Direction
Avoid inserting documents from the opening side of the laminating pouch. Always insert from the sealed edge first.
Angled Film Insertion
Do not insert laminating pouches at an angle. Feed the pouch straight into the laminator.
Incorrect Film Size
Ensure the document size matches the laminating pouch specification before laminating.
Curled Documents
Do not laminate curled, folded or heavily bent documents.
Separated Pouch Layers
Always use the front and back laminating film together. Do not separate the pouch layers.
Cutting Open Laminating Film
Do not cut open laminating pouches before use.
Deformed Laminating Pouches
Avoid laminating with damaged, wrinkled or deformed laminating pouches.
Items Smaller Than 65mm
Do not laminate items shorter than 65mm as they may not feed correctly through the machine.
